This document includes four key components:
- The Neighborhood Toolkit provides an overview of existing resources, tools, and programs available that support community-led improvements for neighborhood mobility, sustainability and environmental management, parks and public spaces, community character, and housing.
- The Equitable Growth Framework Methodology details the data, structure, and purpose for this assessment tool that was developed for the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan and a critical component of understanding nuanced priorities and needs across the different CAP geographies.
- The Mobility, Open Space, Environmental Justice, and Placemaking Assessment Methodologies detail the data, structure, and purpose for these topical assessment tools that were developed for the CAP process and a critical component of understanding nuanced conditions and needs across the different geographies.
- The Policy Map & Place Types Summary details the data, structure, process, and purpose of developing and refining the Charlotte Future 2040 Policy Map and its 10 distinct aspirational Place Types.
